These terms and conditions govern the provision of surfacing and civil engineering services by Kennford Tarmacadam Ltd (Company Registration: 06957841) to clients. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We provide:
All quotations are valid for 3 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on site conditions at the time of survey. Additional work required due to unforeseen ground conditions will be charged separately.
Acceptance of our quotation constitutes a binding contract. A deposit may be required before work commences.
Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at 8% above Bank of England base rate. We reserve the right to suspend work for non-payment.
All materials supplied meet British Standards and relevant specifications. Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion date, subject to normal wear and tear and proper maintenance.

All of the above requirements are dependent on the quote unless otherwise specified.
Work may be delayed or suspended due to adverse weather conditions, ground conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. We will not be liable for delays caused by such circumstances.
All work is carried out in accordance with current health and safety legislation. Site safety is our priority. Clients must ensure site visitors comply with safety requirements and keep clear of working areas.
We maintain comprehensive insurance cover including:
Our liability is limited to the contract value. We are not liable for consequential losses, loss of profits, or indirect damages.
Any variations to the agreed scope of work must be confirmed in writing and may result in additional charges. We will provide cost estimates for variations before proceeding.
Work is considered complete when the contracted scope has been finished to our standard specification. Any defects must be reported within 7 days of completion. New surfaces should not be used for 24-48 hours after laying.
We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from completion against defects arising from faulty installation, subject to proper maintenance and normal use.
Warranties do not cover:
Cancellation must be notified in writing. Cancellation charges may apply depending on materials ordered and work commenced. Full cancellation charges apply if work has started on site.
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including severe weather, strikes, material shortages, or government restrictions.
Any disputes will first be addressed through our internal complaints procedure. Unresolved disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration before court proceedings.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and current data protection legislation. We may retain project records indefinitely for warranty and legal purposes.
These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, other provisions remain in full effect.
